oh that sucks about the 400. If things go as planned, I'll be rocking a 300 2.8 tomorrow (rental). I'm pretty excited about it, and .. i'll be shooting NIKON. !!?!
hope you can find a 400, doesn't seem like too many people will have those laying around. I'm going to Arlington camera tomorrow, if you want me to see if I can pick up a 1.4EX rental for your 300 2.8. The game starts at 6, so there might be enough light to work in the first half at the +1 f/stop from the extender. ..?
