Live From the Great State Fair

Live from under a tree eating a funnel cake and drinking a beer at the state fair. A big shout out to my wife Julie who chickened out in coming with me to the fair to be my designated driver. I also want to state again and have photographic evidence of half price beer. Also the funnel cake I am eating is a bit doughy and has too much powder sugar. Looks like the concession stands have started their rookies the last day of the fair. I'll try to keep a running blog of activities if I am able.

New Camera

I just received in the mail the Oregon Scientific ATC2K Action Cam. I bought it for my paintball adventures but before I take it out to do paintball combat I took it for a spin with Lucy the Beagle.
What I want to do is try to fix it to my still camera similar to the movie "War Photographer" movie.
This is my first test with the camera and as far as I can tell the audio is horrible the video quality is very good. The version you see above is horrible because YouTube compresses the video even more. You can see it in higher quality if you visit my YouTube channel at GPaynePhoto's "Picture Paintball."

Note to self

Six ticket beer, in the building behind Big Tex on the left at a stand
called Bailey's. All other beer outside the building as far as I can
tell is 8 to 12 ticket beer.

A fair day

I am kicking it up at the State Fair of Texas. Drinking Texas tea,
eating fried food and right now scarffing down a braut at the Hans
Mueller tent.

Life is good.

As I type FIU 42 UNT 3. A horrible game fir my alma mater. So far so
good on the photos. The light here is horrible also. Hopefully if they
get a new stadium that will be resolved. I also need to look up NCAA
rules about video on the sidelines. I think I got told some bullshit
today.

Football, Volleyball and Football

I would have had three days of straight football this week ending with today's college game but I opted to shoot a volleyball game on Friday to break things up and not get pig skin'd out.

Today I am shooting a college football game. I am hoping for some good pictures and I will also be keeping an eye out to find some feature art in the parking lot particularly body painting if I can find it.

I'll try to blog from the field if I have time before or after halftime. I may be too busy to do it.
