A kick in the ass

Okay so a friend of mine just pointed out that I haven't posted to my blog in a few weeks. Well actually months and so with his prodding and after having a busy start to a year I am know back in full post mode.

It's the end of soccer, and the beginning of softball and baseball season after a crazy first of the year dealing with basketball. A sport in which I love dearly because it's an indoor sport with air conditioning, the game is fast past, the action is better and i played basketball some when I was in high school.

Anyway getting back to the point I hate shooting baseball and softball. More so baseball than anything, at least in softball things happen when somebody gets on base. I suspect that most other people also find baseball/softball tedious to shoot because the lack of constant action. So here is what I do to make it fun for me to shoot.

1) be creative with angles. I've shot

well Ive got to interrupt this blog have to run on an accident.

Okay Im back. The accident panned out to be serious but not major.

1) Be creative with angles. I've shot many different angles of the pitcher, batter and batter leading off from first and sliding into second, third and home plate.

2) Off the field action. What is the coach doing if they are calling plays or talking to the dug out that might make for a good photo. What are people in the dugout doing there could be a photo there.

3) I look to get a good shot of the catcher flinging off his helmet for the a loose ball havent gotten it just right yet but i'll get there.

These ares some of the things that I do to make it bearable to stand out in the sun for hours.
